Day 1: Casablanca

Arrival at Casablanca airport. Your local guide will meet you and then take you to your hotel (depending on your arrival time). Dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Casablanca - Rabat

On the 2nd day, after breakfast at the hotel, you will take a short tour of the city of Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco and the heart of the country's commerce and industry. You will visit the Hassan II Mosque, built on the water next to the Atlantic Ocean. Later, we will leave for Rabat. We will stop for lunch, and then we will tour the administrative capital of Morocco. We will visit the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Hassan Tower, the minaret of the incomplete mosque started by the Almohad ruler, Yaacoub al-Mansour. To end the day, you can visit the Kasbah of the Oudaias, a citadel of white houses with blue painted parapets located near the Atlantic coast. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Rabat - Meknes - Fez

After breakfast at the hotel, you will travel to Meknes and then to the nearby city of Fez. Meknes is the third imperial city of Morocco with its famous gate, which is known as 'The Versailles of Morocco'. You will be able to explore Bab El Mansour, one of the most beautiful gateways. Continue your sightseeing tour by visiting the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. A break for lunch and then you will visit the Old and New Medina. Later, you will visit the village of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, an important pilgrimage site for Moroccans. Afterwards, you will discover the ancient Roman ruins of Volubulis. Finally, you will drive to Fez to enjoy the evening with a traditional Moroccan dinner. You will spend the night in a riad or hotel.

Day 4: Fez exploring Tour

On the fourth day, after breakfast, you will go on a tour to explore the royal city of Fez. In the morning, you will visit the medieval medina with its walls and narrow streets, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. You will see the ruins of the 16th century Merinid Tombs. We will visit the Bouanania and the Attarine Medersas, built in the early 14th century by the Merinides, the Karaouine Mosque and the Nejjarine Marble Fountain. Lunch break in a typical Moroccan restaurant. Continuing your visit, you will see the decorated Bab Boujeloud gate, medieval tanneries, and the Royal Palace. Then, you will visit the souks (local market), where merchants and artisans sell their handmade jewelry, leather goods, copper and ceramics. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 5: Fez - Beni Mellal - Ouzoud Waterfalls - Marrakech

After breakfast at the hotel, you will travel to Marrakech (the pearl of the south) through the Atlas, passing through Middle Ifran, Azrou and Beni Mellal. In Ifran, known as the Moroccan Switzerland, you will see the stone lion before continuing on to Azrou. Later, you will have a chance to see the 800 year old tree, called Cedre Gouraud, and meet the monkeys in the cedar forest. From here, we cross Azrou, a Berber village known for its green tile roofs. We will arrive at Beni Mellal for lunch. Continuing our tour, you will visit the impressive Ouzoud Waterfalls before arriving in Marrakech, where you can have dinner and stay overnight in a riad or hotel.

Day 6: Marrakech

On the sixth day, you will explore Marrakech, the Imperial City of the South. You will visit the Koutoubia Mosque and its impressive tower. You will also visit the Majorelle Garden, a botanical garden with its varied plants and the 16th century Saadian Tombs decorated with colored mosaics. To end the morning, you will visit the XIX century Bahia Palace with its beautiful oriental architecture. A break for lunch and in the afternoon, you will have time to explore the fascinating souks and narrow streets around Djemâa El-Fna Square. At night, you will be enchanted by snake charmers, singers, acrobats, dancers, storytellers, and storytellers. You will spend the night in a hotel or riad.

Day 7: Marrakech - Essaouira

After breakfast, we will leave Marrakech, "the red city", towards Essaouira. You will be able to visit an Argan factory run by women and learn about the process of making argan oil. You will explore the port of the seaside resort town of Essaouira. For lunch: fresh seafood in the medina. You will have the afternoon to explore the city on your own and enjoy the beach. Dinner and then you will spend the night in a riad or hotel.

Day 8: Essaouira - El Jadida - Casablanca

You will leave Essaouira and travel to Casablanca - ‘the commercial center of Morocco’ - through the coastal road and its admirable views. We will pass through Safi and then to Oualida, where you can enjoy delicious seafood. After lunch, we will continue to Casablanca, passing through El Jadida, an ancient port city established in 1513 by the Portuguese and also known as "Mazagão". Arrival in Casablanca early in the evening. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 9: Casablanca - Airport

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport depending on the departure time of your flight.

Driving times vary from 3-6 hours per day depending on the route, with regular stops at scenic viewpoints, villages, and attractions. The drives through the Atlas Mountains and desert are scenic and part of the experience.

What is the camel ride like?

The camel ride lasts approximately 1-1.5 hours through the Sahara dunes. Camels walk slowly and steadily — no experience is needed. You will ride at sunset or sunrise for the best experience. Each person has their own camel, led by an experienced Berber guide.

What are the desert camps like?

Our luxury desert camps feature private tents with real beds, hot showers, electricity, and Wi-Fi. You will enjoy traditional Berber dinner, live drumming music around a campfire, and an incredible starry sky. Standard camps are also available at lower prices.

What should I wear in the Sahara desert?

Comfortable, loose clothing is best. In spring/autumn, bring a light jacket for evenings. In summer, wear light fabrics, a hat, and sunscreen. In winter, bring a warm jacket as desert nights can be cold (5-10°C). Comfortable shoes or sandals are recommended for walking on sand.
