Excursion from Marrakech to Ouarzazate City
8:30 am / 9:00 am - We pick you up at your hotel or at the place you indicate. We will travel 150 km from Marrakech through the majestic Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate, which in Berber means “without noise”.
In this city, also known as "the door of the desert", you will know the Hollywood of Morocco. Famous for its incredible nature, its caramel-colored landscapes and its magnificent climate, Ouarzazate is home to the 3 most important film studios in Morocco and also the largest in the world by extension, called Atlas Studios.
On a visit to the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, you will be able to admire the beautiful Berber architecture of this fortified city, which has been the scene of mythical films such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator and also of the Game of Thrones series.
At the Museum of Cinema, you can see the great sets made of plaster and other objects from the famous films that have been filmed in the area.
Lunch in Ouarzazate and then return to Marrakech by the same route.
